No, this isn’t going to be a tender story about meeting the love of my life – not at all. When I say “romance in Reykjavik”, I mean everything else other than the man…..

Aloe Vera Desserts & Ais Kacang: Singapore
When you think of fine chocolate, you think of Belgium. When you could just do with a patisserie, Paris springs to mind. When you want ice cream, you want a creamy Italian ice cream (if you know what’s good for you) and when you want a heart attack in a ring shape, you think of Krispy Kremes and Dunkin’ Donuts from America. But South East Asia has never been famous for its desserts.

Which Wat: Wats in Bangkok
There are so many temples (known as wats) in Bangkok, so which wats should you visit? Unless you’re living out in Thailand, temple trekking during a stopover or a holiday will probably leave you a little tired, and dare I say it, bored. Once you’ve seen a few temples, they do all begin to look a bit ‘samey’ so I would recommend making a ‘must see’ list.
Luk Chup Marzipan Dessert: Thai Food in Thailand

Millennium Hilton Bangkok: Millennium Hilton Review
Don’t you just hate Hiltons? They’re boring and businessy and the only wild thing about them is Paris (the hotel heiress, not the city). And that’s not exactly a creditable attribute to have. That’s right, I’ve never been impressed with these multinational hotel chains.
But I think I’ve found a Hilton with a difference. And no, the king size bed wasn’t extra big. The feather pillows weren’t extra feathery. There’s absolutely nothing materialistic about this review, because what really made the Millennium Hilton on Charoennakorn Road stand out from the others, was the people.
Pavé De Genève: The Only Chocolate Worth Eating
I love cake. Any cake. I’d kill for a vanilla slice (especially from Betty’s of Harrogate). I’d die for the perfect creme brulee. I’d push old grannies out of the way for my favourite M&S fruit tart. But chocolate? It’s never been my cup of tea – in fact, I’d much rather have a cup of tea than a Kit Kat.
This was all true until I found a little chocolatier in Place Du Molard in Geneva.
Washington DC Landmarks: Things to Do in Washington DC
A cold Autumn’s day in Washington DC, followed by an evening dinner of traditional American beef brisket and a US cinema experience (supersize popcorn and cheesy American nachos).
Hotel Helix Washington DC Review
I walk up the red carpet and Mustard-gold curtains swing open as I approach the hotel’s entrance. An enlightening and almost God-like music fills the atmosphere as these curtains open and close behind me. Am I famous?
