Reykjavik Iceland. Out of this world…
If your heart beats for alien landscapes and eerie night skies, Iceland is definitely not to be missed. And I’m not talking about the supermarket. 😉

Pictures from my New York helicopter ride
What better way to wave bye bye to the loud and crazy city of New York city than at birds eye view? Here are some pictures from my New York helicopter ride.
Old Man of Coniston. And half a packet of fudge.
Have you ever accidentally climbed a mountain? Believe me, it happens. During our visit to the Lake District, the Old Man of Coniston became one of the best accidents of the trip; not many people can say that they unintentionally scaled 2634ft with no more than a bottle of water and half a packet of fudge!
Ambleside, Lake District, UK
Just a short boat ride from Bowness-on-Windermere, sits a beautiful little corner of the Lake District where waterfalls and rainbows appear around every corner. You just have to know exactly where to look. Here’s a little guide to the Ambleside waterfall walk, up to the beautiful Stock Ghyll Force.

A romantic little break in the Lake District ♥
Everyone’s looking for a little piece of paradise when it comes to searching for somewhere to stay in the gorgeous English Lakes. For me, a break in the Lake District is all about embracing the free things in life; Windermere’s winding, hilly landscape, the vast and mysterious bodies of water, and the breathtaking scenery from the heights of the fells. So searching for a luxury hotel never even crossed my mind.
Nutkin Cottage wasn’t our first choice (this is what happens when your names are Mags and Andrew and you book things too late) but little Nutkin turned out to be the perfect accident.
Some of my favourite places to stay in London
From the cool and quirky stalls of Portobello in Notting Hill to the golden mile of tailoring at Savile Row, the endless choice of bars and restaurants to the fantastic city tours, London is a fantastic place not only for holiday makers but for lovely Brits too.
It’s a fabulous city break for a big group of friends and it can be a romantic location for couples. If you are looking for cool places to stay in London, check out my faves! ♥
What to do in Marrakech ( guest post by Jess)
For travellers looking for a rich cultural experience, Marrakech is just one of those rare holiday destinations that will transport you to another world. The spicy aromas of the souks, the hustle and bustle of the labyrinthine streets, and its colourful architectural delights promise to captivate all of your senses.
